Hello everyone,
In English: Amna is staying in Penang until her family goes there for the tests.She wasn't feeling well enough to come back to Banda Aceh.Rizal and the girls are going to Penang this saturday. The results of the compatibility tests will come three weeks later. For news, I am in contact with an Indian doctor working for WHO who is investigating the quality and price of an operatio in India. I have also wrote to a french NGO called "Aviation without borders" who take care of bringing sick children to countries where they can be helped. I will let you know when i get answers from all these people.
En français: Les nouvelles sont les suivantes: je suis en contact avec un médecin Indien qui travaille pour l'OMS et qui se renseigne pour nous sur la qualité/prix de l'opération en Inde. Privilégiant tout de meme l'option France, j'ai écrit à Aviation Sans Frontières et leur présentant le cas d'Amna. Je vous tiens au courant de la réponse.

Amna was a ten year old little girl from Banda Aceh, Indonesia who was diagnosed with Leukemia summer 2006. People all around the world took action so that Amna could receive medical treatment and get a proper bone marrow transplant in France. Unfortunately, Amna left us end of may 2007. Nevertheless, she created networks of friendship and ties in France, England and the United States, and cultural exchanges continue to take place.
